I was invited by Prof. Celis to the final student presentations of the course Artificial Intelligence in Education. It was a very interesting and enriching experience, where creativity, knowledge and projections of each proposal was evident. It was remarkable how the students were able to apply AI to the problems they raised and the solutions they found were undoubtedly highly relevant, -they addressed also issues associated with funding and ethical aspects-, being scalable to processes associated to education, which shows a projection into the future of the challenges of the work that they will face in their professional performance

The most Dynamic and engaging elective I’ve taken in my career. It’s a student and project centered course, having the students guide the topics in class and work on a solution for a real-life educational problem. Methodologies aside, it was a great opportunity to learn how Artificial Intelligence can be used to enhance, personalize, and support the learning and evaluation processes in education.

One of the best courses I have taken in recent years. Not your typical lecture-style class, but a dynamic one with various forms of engagement. Talks, presentations, project updates, and hands-on work, all centered around the use of artificial intelligence. A highly interesting course that also encourages creativity and the freedom to utilize AI in different projects with a common goal, such as contributing to education. It allowed for a deeper understanding of AI usage, like ChatGPT, as well as the various approaches and ethical considerations required for each application. A highly recommended and up-to-date course for anyone looking to delve into these new technologies.

I found this course innovative and very connected to the working world of programming. With tools like ChatGPT, it is now possible to perform many tasks without needing to know a complete code, just by having a clear idea and a defined approach. This particular course helps you develop that precise focus on how to use the tool in work or research projects. I think it is an essential course if you are interested in getting into data.
