Richard Weber

He is Professor and Department Chair at the Department of Industrial Engineering. Previously, he was Director of the Graduate School of the University of Chile and of the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences of the same university.
He obtained a B.Sc. in Mathematics, a Master in Operations Research, and a Ph.D. in Business and Economics, all from RWTH Aachen, Germany. Currently he teaches courses in statistics and data mining at the undergraduate level, data science and social networks analysis at the graduate level (Master and Ph.D.) as well as Business Intelligence and Business Analytics in Exectutive Education programs.
