Industrial Engineering is one of the 13 departments of the School of Engineering and Sciences of the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences of the University of Chile. The Beauchef campus is located in the commune of Santiago.

Industrial Engineering Department

Today, our deparment is installed in one of the two towers of the “Beauchef 851”  building complex and develops its research and teaching activities in modern offices and meeting rooms. The students have large study rooms, a library, recreation areas (two multipurpose courts, a heated pool and a gym), which, like the entire building, have natural light, provided by laminated glass skylights. The building is LEED certified, awarded by the US Green Building Council, which highlights very few sustainable works with high energy performance worldwide.

In addition to this modern building, our department have 4 other , 2 of them recently remodeled on República 779 and 701. These building are primarily used by some of our research centers and for graduate teaching, executive education and the administrative management of our department.
