Master in Business Administration (MBA)

The UChile MBA is the largest graduate program offered by our department and graduate school. Its curriculum and student experience are based on building and strengthening four distinctive capabilities:

Lead teams and influence people in organizations with a solid command of managerial soft skills such as: teamwork, leadership, negotiation, power and influence, communication and change management. Courses are taught by our specialized Organizational Engineering Center.

Make better business decisions with the powerful tools of management science. Rigorous, evidence-based problem solving and decision making for systemic, complex, and unstructured management challenges. Our department is an important global contributor in this domain, with scientific publications in top management and economics academic journals and prestigious recognitions for applied work with real impact. As an example of the latter, our faculty have won INFORMS’s Franz Edelman Award for Achievement in Advanced Analytics, Operations Research, and Management Science in 1998 and 2022.

Manage in an ever-changing playing field with a deep understanding of globalization & technology, the main driving forces transforming the business environment. Our program is offered by an Industrial Engineering Department, so we are experts in applying technology to management challenges. We also have a specialized Global MBA program and many other opportunities for all students to acquire a global mindset.

Master the state of the art in management with a broad, deep, and rigorous course plan covering all the functional areas of the firm: marketing, operations, people, and finance; and their interactions and coordination to implement the corporate and business strategies of the firm.

The UChile MBA has been consistently placed among the best MBA programs in several global and regional rankings.
