The main goal of the “Millennium Nucleus Information and Coordination in Networks” is to consolidate an world-class research pole in the fields of Algorithms, Combinatorics, Game Theory, and Optimization, particularly in their connections to Network problems characterized by the lack of information and the lack of coordination.

The origins of our group dates back to 2008, when a number of researchers from the Departments of Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, and Applied Mathematics created an interest group around a weekly ACGO seminar. The seminar has been running continuously since then and has fostered lots of activities, research projects, several joint works, and more importantly has attracted the attention of many students in Chile and researchers from around the globe. The Nucleus is thus a natural first step to increase our activity.
